Breitling Breitling 35217 wrist watches news:
I had a link taken out of my rolexes 5 years ago at the BH RSC. I now want to add the link back on the watches. I have a SD screwdriver, but I am so paranoid I am going to screw this up. I heard the screws are in there really tight and I just don't know how tight? What to do about the locktight? Thanks for any tips. Perhaps I should just loose the weight I gained
I previously re-enameled the bezel on my Guardsman, mentioning it on the "other" vintage Hamilton & Illinois forum. This next was the other I had been considering. It still had a good bit of the (apparently) original enamel intact, but a re-enameling seemed to be in order. I am using a black enamel marker (rather than paint and a brush) which Rick had originally recommended (it uses the same technology as those laundry pen stain removers), about $5 at a hobby website. It doesn't require more than 10 minutes to begin to harden, although a few repeated applications after wiping the excess with acetone (nail polish remover) give the best results. I didn't have to disassemble the case, given the degree of precision one can have with the marker tip (Greg has started a thread in the American forum outlining his results, with photos of the down and dirty process). Anyway, it wasn't bad before:After:
Hi , Has anybody heard of one of these? I havn't seen the watch yet, but it comes from a good source that I have purchased from before. It is manual wind movement , TV case , 3 Chrono subdials 3,6,9 , black dial , on a leather strap. It states both Speedmaster and Constellation and MKII on the dial. The watch is approx 40years old and has never been worn! The current owner has had it from new (purchased in Switzerland).Cant find much on the net so hoping someone here may be able to shed some light.ThanksAlan
Then came the face-lift using the non-America's Cup dial with applied logo and markers:Followed by the WG bezel:And now this:Fr. John†
