Breitling A1335611/G569-357A wrist watches news:
I am toying with the idea of buying the parts and have my watchmaker to put it together. I am however concerned about the date ring, I am planning to go for the date version with the 565 movement but the usual date ring, OME5601500N, is convex and therefor not suitable. I wonder what the stock# is for the correct flat date ring? Is the OME5611580 suitable for the 565 movement? Are the numbers white on black background or the other way around? Any pointers where to look for the date ring? Cousins only have the OME5601500N in stock.
Rik- I just finished re-reading the John Holbrook/Dennis (Ulackfocus) debate about the Omega Co-Ax versus Rolex movement. I'm proud to say I even understood most of it. But it got me wondering about something. I'm already past middle age, so let's assume I have another 35 years left in me. As long as I do not abuse a watch and service it every 5 years, is it worth worrying about whether or not the gears or axles in a movement wear out in my lifetime?
Hi there guys can u tell me what's the max discount I can get from AD in florida, atlanta, or dallas on breitling superocean heritage thanxs in advance
after collecting watches for a few years now (mostly rolex) I've decided to look into patek and possibly acquire a few. I went this weekend to 3 retail stores to hopefully take one home and unfortunately hit a wall.... I had no idea the demand and rarity of this collection; mainly on the two I am interested in. . the aqaunaut and the nautilus . .. they all told me Patek is not accepting any order or deposits for this year on those two models. does anyone know where I can find new timepieces in stock? I appreciate any advice:
Hello everyone,I have a 1997 Daytona and am having problems with the Upper Screw Down Pusher. I pushed it down to start the chronograph second hand but when I tried to stop it, it's not working. Does anyone know why this may be happening or have you had this problem? Thanks!
