My first Patek (5146/1G)
I am thinking of purchasing this Patek (patek/html/en/ref_514....html?flash=no). I have been looking for a year now and this is, in my opinion, by far the most beautiful watch from any company that I have ever seen. I wish that it had a perpetual calendar, but the annual calender is fine and I just really like the aesthetic of it.I am considering getting it as a graduation present. I am 24 years old and graduating from Columbia's JDMBA program next year. I would be purchasing it around March of 2011. I am hoping to wear this watch for the rest of my life.You all seem super well-informed and this is a major decision for me. Thoughts?

New Look For PO
Hi guys Got myself a new strap for my 42mm PO.I know how you all like pictures so I thought I'd share...Ordered this direct from Austria...IMG_1559.JPGHirsh Jumper Black Croc with orange stitch. Came with a tool & new spring bars.IMG_1560.JPGI fancied a new look without spending a small fortune. I sent the PO for a service and it came back all lovely & polished but after a couple of months the clasp's starting to show signs of wear, IMG_1562.JPGThis is my first attempt to change straps. The tool was the wrong size but I managed to get the bracelet off with a bit of fiddling.IMG_1563.JPGGetting the new strap on was pretty easy, although I did put it on the wrong way round at first & had to swap it back round again!!IMG_1564.JPGWorn it for the rest of the day and could hardly take my eyes off it, Almost like having a whole new watch..I love the orange stitching, it's nearly an exact match to the bezel in the right lightAnyway sorry for the long post, hope you enjoy the pics.

Hi everyone! I am so excited about my UPS package that came in this morning! After a ton of searching and looking I finally found a Tudor BBN rose logo ETA!!! On leather!!!! I was also able to secure a great discount on a 126333 white stick dial. I always preffer the TS Route, but this time I must say that I had a wonderful experience at an AD. White glove service, and even ordered my TT DJ straight from switzerland so it was never touched by human hands before mine! All in all its a great day and a pleasure to share with my fellow TRFers.
