Breitling A78365 wrist watches news:
If you aren't familiar with this new brand Red Sea is an American watch company located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area started by a couple of guys just like us that are crazy about watches. Their first two offerings are both divers based on the same case. The Holy Stone & Six Pounder. Each was produced in a limited number of 150, with half of that number being PVD coated. The lume on both versions is done by Lum-Tec in an outstanding blue hue, but it has an off white - almost vintage color to it in direct light which I love with the black PVD! The watch comes with a rubber strap, two NATO straps, and a thick bracelet all shipped in a nice travel case. Because of a defect in the PVD application on the bracelets these arrived later than the finished watch heads, but Red Sea gave those that pre-ordered the option of getting the watch right away, and then receiving the bracelet at a later date after they were re-coated. That's the option I took and after receiving the the b
Hi there guys hope you are all having a great week..Being an airline captain I have been a very keen admirer of the World Time 5131's and have tried like crazy to get hold of a 5131R and even wrote personally to Mr Stern, to which he replied personally via fedex but unable to help me.Just wanted some advise as I have come across a 5131J like new not sealed. Would you trade a 5980R and 5712 which I bough double sealed plus 36K USD for a 5131J. OR 5980R + Rolex Smurf 166619LB (3 years old) plus 46K USD for 5131J.Looking fwd to hearing from the more experienced collectors if the above deals are worth it and do you see the 5131J appreciating in value in the future to justify this trade? ThanksAndyIG: JETKOPITE777
I'd love a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar, but I'm not willing to settle for a watch without a second hand. From what I can see (Chrono24), the cheapest model that's a full perpetual calendar with a second hand is the 5059G. Going rate seems to be > $40,000 USD.Are there any other models people would recommend to keep an eye out for? Thanks.
I really love the new GMT II Pepsi from Rolex, but there was a Pepsi GMT also released from Tudor which is a very beautiful reference as well. I haven't seen much discussion of it on here. https://.tudorwatch/watches/n.../m79830rb-0001https://.hodinkee/articles/tu...mt-introducingIt's a beautiful watch a new tudor GMT movement, great colors, great 41mm size, oyster style rivet bracelet, oh yeah an amazing price MSRP $3900. For GMT lovers I think this was a great set of Basel releases.
Has anyone tried a leather strap on a SS Sky Dweller, and if so, how did work out? Any pics?
