A. Lange & S?hne has announced that Michelle Veyna has joined the brand as sales manager for the North American market. Ms. Veyna has over 20 years of industry experience, most recently serving as president of the North American division of Parmigiani Fleurier from 2003 to 2010. Prior to that, she served as vice president of sales and marketing for Helvetia Time Corporation, where she distributed Roger Dubuis, among other brands. West Coast Hamiltons
I spent the weekend out in the LA area and visited an antique flea market in Long Beach on Sunday. There were a fair amount of watch dealers with quite a few vintage Hammies. I got to see both an original and a quartz Piping Rock. I saw an original Ventura. The dealer called the Ventura the Ward Cleaver watch, saying that Hugh Beaumont wore one on Leave It to Beaver. I thought it odd that I hadn't heard of this before since the Hamilton-Hollywood connection has been discussed. I didn't buy any Hammies, but it was good to see the vintage watches in person so I have a better feel for the sizes.

Are Omega losing their way?
Just noticed this Speedmaster on Omega web site under new products. its the manual wind moon watch 42mm Diameter. Following the release of the PO GMT, maybe Omega are going a bit wayward with what to bring out next scenario ??? what do you guys think?

It's been a lot of fun being a member of this great forum. I've certainly learned a lot. I flipped a bunch in the beginning, but have finally settled into a small collection that I really like. I've had the Explorer, Explorer 2 (black) and Milgauss (white) two times each. The Explorer 2 and the Milgauss (along with an Omega Railmaster) are now the base of my collection. I've bought from dealers on TRF as well as my local AD. I've developed great relationships with both. I definitely like watches and brands I absolutely didn't like 4 years ago. I didn't like two-tone anything, now I absolutely love them. I didn't understand the appeal of brands like Panerai and JLC, now I can't wait to try these brands.My biggest take away has been to really take my time before pulling the trigger. I am all over the map as far as what to get next. As of today I think a TT bluesy or Daytona, but that could just as easily be a classic Submariner or a Panerai. Getting a 31mm OP for my wife was
