- The watch is nice. The face is a little for a men's watch. Otherwise, it's a nice accessory to represent your team on Sunday.

U-Boat 2272 wrist watches news:
My skills are ever improving when speaking of watch related photography. I guess when you start out with no skill any glimpse of hope is appropriately labeled as an improvement. Well, I always hear Dennis talk about macro (I know what it means) but assumed I was impervious to the need to hit the flower button. Any time I had ever done "Zoom" macro it came out really blurry when trying to focus with the screen. When I took the picture it came out quite clear!!! Sadly, I know it isn't macro Monday but I hope you can still appreciate my new adventures with some old watches and a new toy. My new Merker safety razor and Art of Shaving shave set wanted to make an appearance with my only German watch. So all will be featured in the following pictures. I just wanted to express some excitement with new and higher quality pictures! This is from my Breitling:Here is my Illinois Beau Monde:My hardest watch to photograph Maurice Lacroix Jours Retrogrades:Big Date! Finally an attractive shot of the Re

So I am seeking out a 3970. What I am seeing is that many have the watches I have looked at have alignment issues with the day and date wheels. Sometimes one of the indicators is not vertically centered but in many watches the indicators are crooked and are slanting down towards the center. I have never seen this on the 2499s or 1518s. What are your thoughts? Is this how they came from the factory or is this a wear or wrong-time setting issue? If it was only a need for an overhaul I would doubt the indication would be in the box but crooked. But I really do not know. I do not want a costly repair to change out the underlying gears for the wheels. Any experts out there who are familiar with this?
A couple of fun light shots, and a serious one.
Hey Team,Long time listener first time poster... looking at these two. LOVE the durability and 'look at me' factor of the Rolex and PP has always been my grail-ish watch.. so stuck in a dilemma.. if you could only get 1.. what would it be and why?Could potentially swing both.. but don't REALLY want to!Help! Thanks in advance,Peter
