Breitling a71356LA/q579-2zd wrist watches news:
Question for you guys. I recently purchased a new Day-Date and me thinks the bracelet is a wee bit too loose. I was thinking about trying to remove a link all by myself. My question is this, I am assuming gold is a soft metal, so is there a possibility I might booger up the screws on this if I don't use the proper screwdriver? I mean, I don't know exactly how tight those screws are from the factory. The Store I bought it from is kinda far down the road from me. Is there a special set of Rolex screw drivers a person needs to perform this task?ThanksRob
Hello all!I'm a young lady in California trying to find out more about my grandfather's watch. He's gone now, but I knew him well, and have a momento. He won this watch in a contest while an employee of the Oakland Tribune in 1940 (there's an inscription). It is a Hamilton watch, mechanic, with a little diamond (probably after market?) to the upper left. The strap is replaced, I'm assuming, and the dial looks quite nearly like the "Endicott" from my preliminary web research. The difference is that in all the photos I find of the Endicott, the "Hamilton" print on the dial is located much higher (and closer) to a placement between the 11 and the 1 than on my grandfather's watch. I wonder if that is an indicator that it is an earlier production? In any event, here is where you will find a photo of the Endicott: antiquevintagewatches...ndicott400.jpgAnd here is where you will find two photos of my grandpa's watch: Flickr: OT_Carl_Fontan_1940's PhotostreamAll photos are also attached
It finally happened - after much deliberation and waiting, I received my first AP.I wanted something fun for weekends that also fits my smaller wrist. So a Jumbo in yellow gold it is. It is really a stunning piece.
Hey everyone, I need a little bit of help identifying this Patek. I have a couple pictures but cannot find anything about it online. Is it fake? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! https://imgur/98v3MWUhttps://imgur/XNU5uWRhttps://imgur/Y09uvC5
Does anyone have any recommendations of similar 3rd party ones?I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd stop making them, but I really wanted to grab a few of them but they've basically dried up except for a few used ones on eBay at ridiculous prices. I really like the look (rough edges/etc.) but am having trouble finding anything similar.
