First time buying advice
I am looking to purchase my first Rolex. Since I am trying to keep the cost to a minimum, I am looking in the secondary market. Are there any good online dealers you all trust? What about pawn shops? Any advice you could offer would be great. Look forward to being a member of the Rolex family.

Jumbo 1-1/2 Link Thoughts
Still trying to figure out the bracelet on this one. I acquired a 1-1/2 link a while back and have been replacing it on and off with two regular links when the weather heats up or cools down. Would love to find a good happy medium where I don't have to visit the boutique every 4 months!Here are my thoughts, which I'm hoping some of you Jumbo wearers can comment on. The 1-1/2 link isn't really 1-1/2 of a regular link at all...it's more like 1-1/3 of a regular link (8mm versus 6mm). My thought is to have TWO of the 1-1/2 links put in place of THREE regular links. My math works out to a net loss of 2mm using this set-up...which in my mind is not a combination that you can achieve easily with only 1-1/2 link in the bracelet. I'd have to spring for another half link, but it may solve the problem.I know I'm over-thinking this but the bracelet is driving me nuts without a micro-adjustment. I'd hate to have to give up the watch simply becasue of frustration with sizing the bracelet.

Help with manual wind
Picked up my first manual wind watch today with Omega's 3201 caliber (I know the 3xxx movements are contested movments), and I was just wondering if anybody could help me out with the winding operation, as this is the first full manual wind watch i've owned.The winding instructions say to turn the crown until it stops. I wound the watch, and after about 10 turns it didn't stop, the best way i can describe it is it went from smooth turning to feeling like I was twisting rubber--the crown would still turn though offering up slightly more resistance, but when I let the crown go it would turn backwards a little.. Again, as if I were twisting a rubber band. Does this mean the watch is fully wound? or should I keep going until it literally stops?My first thought was that it was fully wound when I felt the increased tension and rubbery play of the crown. But after one full day of wear I expected to be able to give it at least a few more turns with little resistance, but the crown would s

Finally got the Daytona C call but wrong dial colour ! Advice needed !!
Hi everyone ! I texted, called and emailed my Rolex salesperson the morning of March 16,2016 right after Rolex announced the Daytona C. The white dial is the one I really wanted and I told my salesperson that. It made my heart skip a beat when I first saw it on Rolex¡¯s Instagram that morning !! I was on the list for the prior model white dial 12 years ago and my name came up a couple of years later but the timing was not right as we just had a baby and bought a new house at the time so had to let that one go. So I have been wanting a SS white dial for around 12 years now ! When the new model was announced I knew it was time ! Fast forward to 2016/2017 again.... Several texts and calls over the following months and no Daytona even though I was one of the first to contact the store. I kind of made contact again last summer and still no call. Salesperson was trying but none were available to her to sell ! I went in last week and had a personal one on one conversation
