Looking for info on a Vintage Patek - Baby Blue Herringbone Dial
I have a client that is looking to replace a watch that was stolen about a decade ago from his father. He does not have any information regarding age or movement. The only information he has is that is was either white gold or platinum and had a baby blue herringbone dial.He is looking to purchase the watch for his father. I seem to be attracted to modern, yet classic designs - and especially to chronographs. Do not ask why.This has led me to the following two key contenders:* Patek 5960P (potentially with Blue dial, if one can find one)* A. Lange & S?hne Datograph (in platinum)I would be interested in hearing your reflections on these two options. At the moment my head says 5960, but heart Datograph.
