IWC IW500901 wrist watches news:
Hey guys !There are your regular Elgin Trench Watches (which are very nice in their own right) and then there are ones that we dream about !This one being the latter.......................This is by far the most solid gold that I've ever seen on an Elgin Trench Watch ! ! !Plus, it has one of the most sought after and rarest American movements ever manufactured. This is a 1915 Elgin Trench Trench Watch that has a 14k SOLID GOLD case made by the Illinois Watch Case Company.14k solid gold Illinois Trench Watch Cases are VERY rare, you simply do not not many of them.On the movement: the center wheel, raised jewel chatons and balance wheel screws are all made of SOLID GOLD.Oh yeah, the buckle on the strap is also made of 14k SOLID GOLD.From 1914 through 1933 Elgin manufactured about 2,000,000 (2 million) size 3/0s movements.Out of these 2,000,000 movements only 500 of them were made with 17 jewels, all the rest had 7 jewels or 15 jewels. So, if you break down the numbers only 1/4 of 1% were m

Hey guys i haven't been on in a while and am looking to buy a new watch what is your opinion should i get a citizen skyhawk or a invicta reserve speedy thanks.
I recently came across an AP RO 36mm, specifically the Pictet & Cie special edition from 2005 of which about 1,800 were made. Pics attached. I met the seller (ex-Pictet banker) in person and had a good look at the watch. It comes with original papers and box. It is in perfect condition, barely worn, never serviced or polished. I negotiated the price down to $6,300 and have until tomorrow to decide. Based on my research, this seems to be a very good price as I haven't this specific model being sold or having been sold for less than $8000+.The only reason I am hesitating is the resale value of the watch. It has the bank's logo engraved in the back and furthermore it also has the name of the Pictet banker who originally received the watch engraved in the back. I am wondering how easily and at what price I will be able to sell this watch in the future. I have a decent collection and I almost never buy a watch that I don't think I will be able to sell in the future for at least the same
Hello,Again the Aerospace is knocking my head... I had the B1 and I always said, if the B1 Super Quartz was 300 meters, will be my only watch. My questions are:Any photos of the Aerospace 42 mm near the 43mm?The difference in size will be so obvious? If not, is better to buy the old Aerospace at better price? Which color? Black, grey (looks brown to me in some photos) or blue. Black I don't think so... my DSSD and 422 already black. No problem in swimming pool, beach and water sports? 100 meters watch. .. Thank you!
