- This is a very cool looking watch. Casual but smart enough to wear to formal dinners etc. However the links of this watch a quite large. So if you have a wrist like me youll either have it too tight or too loose.

Budapest!
I'm about ready to make a new watch purchase. I already own a Longines Large Conquest Heritage Steel Automatic model with the L633 movement (Top Grade ETA 2824). I'm deciding between the Longines Olympic Chronograph Automatic (Top Grade ETA 2894) or the Raymond Weil Parsifal Automatic (Unknown Grade of ETA 2892).I don't really need either. This is for fun. One the one hand I would like a watch to wear everyday. On the other, I would like a watch to complement my Conquest Heritage. I thought about the new Conquest Automatic. It is attractive because of the lower price point. However, I have rejected it because the links in the bracelet are pinned and not screwed and I already own a watch with the same movement. My questions are as follows:Which watch will hold up better over time? The Longines or Raymond Weil?Which watch is better built?Which watch will run better?Am I right in rejecting the new Conquest Automatic?I welcome your thoughts.
I want to introduce you to a wonderful watchmaker based in Germany. His fantastic custom work is some of the best I have seen and are truly works of art. I have copied some information from his website. The photo's below are pictures of some commission work that he has done, he also does "production orders" but, from what I see they are limited runs and only made on demand. With that said all information and photos are property of Timekeeper Chronometer Germany.TIMEKEEPER - 1/4 Repeater with Chronograph UNIQUE - Special development on client demand (t009) TIMEKEEPER special production with a perfect, historical movement from 1900. Complication with quarter repeater, strike with 2 hammers and Chronograph with pillar wheel. Movement with breguet spring and blued screwed balance. Starting the repeater by using the slider, starting the chrono by using the pusher at 12, timesetting by using small pusher. An antique piece of watchmakers art, reborn in a highest quality 45mm, stainless st
I just love them but of course get the people saying that they took the name of someone they had nothing to do with blah blah so did Panerai and Breitling which are two others that come to mind. I can pull the trigger on a Navigator Scout black dial on bracelet and strap for a very low cost. Would love some input on anyone experienced with it. Beside the tyical, get it if it spaks to you, get what you want etcstuff.
Hi guys, I've always admired this brand for a while now and finally was able to give in and pulled the trigger on my first AP, the 42mm ROO chronograph. I really love it especially the beautiful black Guilloche dial. Got lots of compliments on it for the past couple days. Thanks for looking. Oh, I also ordered the black rubber strap and can't wait for it to arrive to switch it up. (Cost a fortune just for the strap and buckle )
