HINice to find a Watch Forum that recognizes Hamilton as American greatness (I here from TZ, still a good place for sales). I have dabbled in vintage (and newer) watches for years with an emphasis on Hamiltons and Gruens. My Wife and I have his and her Hamilton 14k Gilberts!I have a stable of Hamiltons, "Craig" being my sentimental favorite, and have a nice gaggle of well running clean electrics, Ventura, Van Horn, Spectra, Vantage, Converta III, Savitar II, Victor, and a 505 two tone RR (and probably some others I have forgotten). My best watch war story is finding a Hamilton Spur (yg) in a pile of vintage watches at a Mall antique show. I asked the guy what he wanted and he said "$250". TWO HUNDRED FIFTY?? Could not believe my ears. I could not get the money out fast enough. I tended that watch carefully, but one day I got offered $5000 for it, and found it an "offer I could not refuse", from a guy who was searching the internet for a yg Spur, as he had the Coronado and Piping
