I Love it but it is so heavy I thought about putting it on a strap, but I'd rather keep it on a bracelet.Does anyone know of a lightweight bracelet that would fit?One website has some unused old speedmaster bracelets that are quite light that it claims will fit any Omega with 20mm spaced lugs. RARE Glycine"High Speed" - Where to find info?
At an estate sale this weekend, I picked up a Glycine. The dial says "high speed," yet the movement is automatic. I'd assume that this meant that the watch used the 3,600 vibration frequency for its movement? The case is all stainless, and the thing is so rare that not even Google has a photo of it. Recently becomming a happy owner of my first Rolex, I find myself spending way too much time looking at it, as well as others like it online.I have noticed a quite obvious difference, I haven't been able to read anything about. The 'swiss made' at six o'clock is written differently on some watches. I am not able to pin it to certain years nor have I been able to see a pattern with i.e. ingravings in the rehaut.My watch a '08 M-series has a noticable bigger distance between 'swiss' and 'made' compared to several other YM's I've come across, both older and younger models...What's up with that?
