Stainless black coated, crystal, Quartz watch. Might order a new blue colored rubber strap in the near future. How many of you have this style watch with this finish by Zodiac??? I am under the impression this is not able to be purchased online from Zodiac direct. Maybe because it is an older model???

How do we know he did it right?
How do we know that the watchmaker did it right?. That is taken apart the entire watch, cleaned each part perfectly, reasembled it, lubed and regulated it. I hear stories of watchmakers rising the entire works in a solvent, blowing it dry, ressembling it, lubing and regulating. How do we what he actually did. Answer. Possible Sector Dial for the 5170?
Well we have seen Arabic markers on the 5070, Roman numerals on the 5170J and Breguet markers on both versions of the 5170G. Aren't we ready for a sector dial chrono for a 5170P? Would love a light colored laceur dial with blue markers and hands. (Pic is not mine and could not find the source but this is a beautiful vintage chrono Ref 130)

116710LN replacement clasp
I've had my clasp polished a few times on my GMT Master ll the metal on the clasp is still polishable and fine however I'm thinking in three or four years when I could do a complete service I may replace the clasp.I guess I shouldn't have had it polished but there isn't that much metal on it and once you polish it a few times it starts becoming thin the centre indentation, what is the cost of a new clasp or for that matter bracelet for one of these things anyone out there know
