Breitling A3238011/BA38 wrist watches news:
New Omega owner and so, new to the forums. My fiance got me a brand new "Planet Ocean Seamaster Profesional 600m Co-Axial" as her engagement present to me a couple weeks ago (it kind of felt like a bribe, but she is a keeper) and I was setting the time against the atomic clock last week and forgot to screw down the crown. I was halfway through a shower when I realized the crown was still in the "first" position, the position from which it can be manually wound but not adjusted, and I lept out of the shower and dried it as fast as I could. It is still running fine as of a week later. I tried shaking it to see if I could hear any water moving around inside, but all I could hear is ticking and the automatic kinetic weight jostling around. There has been no condensation build up on/under the lens, and the time is still at about +1 second/day, if that, same as before the "tragedy."Question: Does the crown being in the first position have any water resistance whatsoever? Enough to hold up ag
the case and dial felt quite big for its 42mm diameter. The dial was much more delicate in its markings than in the photographs. Nice, but not quite there for me. Glad I could try it on though.
For those of you that already know about the question I asked a week ago about which watch I should get between the Citizen Eco drive 2100, Seiko Monster, Bulova Marine Star and the Swiss Army Ambassador automatic day/date, My birthday is this sunday and I thought long and hard about which watch I should buy between the four, That being said if this is a big if I do find something other than the watches I've listed I will buy it. But I'm 85% shore I'll hold off buying any watch right now. I'm I doing the right thing or should I just keep looking? Is it better to wait or I'm I making a mistake in not buying something else, I would really like to hear what you think?
More than 25 macros I took yesterday of the new Royal Oak Two Tone including the ladies piece with diamonds. Enjoy!!!!
I know it's nothing crazy but for anyone in the market for a SS Rolex Explorer 1 in the 39mm size - they have one in the Watford Goldsmiths. It was there on the weekend.
