Rolex Question, Non-Automatic??
I was talking to a very good friend of mine yesterday over a few drinks. The conversation got onto watches and he was telling me about his Rolex that he wears everyday. It's a gold day/date. He told me it wasn't automatic. That it had to be wound everyday. I never heard of a Rolex that wasn't automatic. Not quartz either.Is there such an animal?? I don't know alot about watches, but never saw one, if there is such a watch. He swears he has to wind it everyday.

They replied to my requests for information on the ProDiver:This is from the Sales Manager, Swisstime Australia (New Zealand usually falls into the 'Australia' region for a lot of watch brands)"Thank you for your enquiry regarding the ProDiver. RRP is $4595.00 AUD, release date will be September."As of 11 May, this equals $3,520 USD, and I can only assume it will be a worldwide release date, not just September for the Australasia region.

Trade DSSD and POC for AD Diver
Need some opinions please. I have an opportunity to trade my DSSD black dial and my Omega POC on bracelet, straight up for a year old AP Diver SS. Both of my watches are mint, and bought new. I really like to Diver, but the thought of scratching it up or even wearing it daily cause me stress. I don't baby my watches, but I am pretty careful not to damage them. Had a PAM 233 that I had to stop wearing because I felt it was to delicate for my lifestyle.Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Hand change
In recently bought a pam510. I love the piece but as I look at other Panerai models, I'm realizing I like shiny silver colored hands better than the black. Is it possible to swap out the black hands with a polished steel/silver/white gold hands?Can any watchmaker do this even though it is an in-house movement?Any ideas on cost and labor?Does anyone know somebody in the Chicago area who could do it?I have the discontinued sandwich dial so will this kill the watch as far as collectibility or resale?

Any pics of 292 or radiomir on 26/26 strap?
I usually only find radiomirs with a tapered 26/22 (or 27/22) sized asso strap. Anyone has a pic of their 292 on a 26/26 size, points for oem asso or jv!
