This one is another ss Seamaster that's a little less than normal - a 751 chronometer. I really thought it would be another Connie in solid gold, but when the chance to buy this from a very reputable collector came up I had to pounce - especially at the more than fair price he asked. It's fully serviced as of last year, and just needs a little touch up on the case and hands which Sam will knock out when I take it to him in a week or so. A hamilton OS 19j 985 in a recased GF hunter case just sold on Ebay for over $3000.00. Three bidders where over $2000. I am familiar with the seller and highly doubt he is playing any games.I know it is a fairly rare and a beautiful movement, and probably less were made than the production numbers indicate.I can see $500, maybe up to $750 if two people really really want it, but over $3000???. I don't see rare, low production Hamilton pw movements bringing alot of money. Seamaster PO vs Aqua Terra
I just purchased a 45.5 PO chrono w ceramic. Beautiful watch however just saw the AquaTerra chrono and it really sang to me. I'm looking for an all around watch I can dress up or wear w casual. I'm thinking about making a change and wanted to hear anyone's opinion on the 2 watches. One downside I have w the PO is that it wears a little heavy for me and I'm not sure how it will work with a suit having the high profile. Thanks
