Breitling a1332024c817bkor wrist watches news:
Hardcore diving watches with moon phase complications? Not too many of those around. Sure the concept seems paradoxical, but when you think about it, there could be a functional component to this power combo of uses. Some divers need to be aware of the tides, and the tides are influenced by moon. There could be some correlation here? Maybe that is a stretch, but when it comes down to it such a small percentage of dive watch owners actually dive. The style of the watch is more an indicator of build strength and the wearer's personality these days. So while most dive watches are up to "the task," few of them are actually called upon for deep duty.Nevertheless the Linde Werdelin Oktopus dive watch has you covered in most any sport watch contingency, and this new version adds an interesting style of moonphase indication to the dial. The movement used is also very interesting. I originally discussed the Linde Werdelin Oktopus watch here (while look at that article check at the bottom for a
All,Just a curious about experiences with Breitling servicing. I have a originally owned Colt chrono quartz that I sent in to BUSA for a battery change by Diamonds Direct. The estimate is $499.89!History on watch is I have had the battery replaced 1 time previously at the service center and it has been packed in storage for the last 5yrs so has seen limited use.The preliminary description is it needs a full service and new hands due to its age (illuminate fade?), and a battery. I have asked for a complete explanation but that seems like a huge investment for such limited wear time.So watch came back, looks good but I have a question. All I got was a black booklet explaining why I should do maintenance and a receipt from Diamonds Direct. I was surprised the did not stamp anything proving certification and/or a work order print out explaining that they performed and replaced for the $538.I inquired about this and was told BUSA tracks the watch history by the s/n. I found this kind of odd
Hi this is one of my first topics and I am stumped big time. I got this watch in a bag of scrap watches I pick up from the flea market one weekend. I have found many like it on the google search but not this exact one. I have no idea what it's worth or even its name other than Longines Quartz. Here is the general info I've acquired. On the case back it says and only this Stainless steel back base metal bezel with the Longines icon. Inside the case back it has and I'll quote "Case 8086-l960 9317469". On the movement is a serial 55131164. It is a 5 jewels L960.2 that is it I'll put the rest in pics. Hope I can get some answers as I can't even find this on Google lol. I hope these iPhone photos will suffice as I don't have a good SLR yet but it's on my list lol. Thanks for any help. And I am loving this forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hello Omega Fans. WHAT is AD cost msrp? Thanks in advance.
Spent some family time in Porto Rico for spring break with the family. Did some light cave exploring, beach time, dinners and down time. It was nice to travel with the Daytona and take a few pics along the way. Hope you enjoy the show!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
