2009 proved to be a very successful year for A. Lange & S?hne. With a total of 21 international awards, it is in fact the most successful year in the history of the brand, which was re-established in 1990. Since the presentation of the first collection, the timepieces made in Saxony have won more than 130 prizes, including 81 first prizes. The Lange Zeitwerk finished first in the category ¡°Complicated Mechanics¡± at the MunichTime fair, which took place from October 30 – November 1. Both the jury and the public selected it as the winner. The new 1815 also won both prizes in the category ¡°Classical elegance¡±. Girard-Perregaux Sea & Chrono Hawk Watches
I knew it was coming and I am glad that it is finally here. Similar to brands such as Jaeger-LeCoultre, Girard-Perregaux makes (or made) really good sport watches that it does not really market that much. You just sort of need to know about them. For a while, the last remaining sport watch Girard-Perregaux made was the Sea Hawk - a high-end diver with a personality complex not knowing whether it was a serious sport watch meant for action or a luxury lifestyle watch meant for cocktail hour. And when was the last time you even heard about the Laureato collection?At the end of 2012, Girard-Perregaux brings them both back into the limelight under a single collection - the Hawk. While the Laureato collection is retired for the time being, its design DNA has been incorporated into the new Sea Hawk and Chrono Hawk models. You can see the familiar design of the lugs and the octagonal bezel in there. Of course, it has been mashed together with elements from the last generation Sea Hawk models.

Omega De ville 620 cal
I have just purchased an Omega 620 cal watch I think its not winding correctly I only get a couple of turns then I get resistance, it does start ticking but runs down in 3 to 4 hours.I was going to send it to a jewellers to get polished and a new glass any idea what the problem is /how much it would cost to fix?Many Thanks SolidAir
