Growing up, one of my favorite watches was the Universal Geneve Polerouter. An early Pilot's Watch, the Polerouter was priced at about the same cost as a Rolex Explorer.A few years ago, when I was 40, I finally got my Polerouter. Can't send private messages
I ordered a SS patron membership a year ago. The private messages worked for 6 months and then suddenly stopped. After 3 months of no messenging, I reordered. Not only did it double charge my account, but now I have no private messenging capabilities again. I have emailed the mods about this with no response. I am out $30 and have nothing to say for it. I love this forum, and I would really like to be able to message. Am I missing something? What should I do?akkatron

Dial replacement
OK, I am new to the forum just trying to understand the Rolex terms. When asking about replacing an existing dial on a Daytona with another color Rolex dial, the AD I spoke to says that Rolex would then consider that a counterfeit item and would not service it. What is the reasoning for this from Rolex if the watch is genuine? I am not wanting this done, only trying to understand the issues.
