Perrelet Turbine Skeleton Watch
For 2015, the Perrelet Turbine Skeleton marks a return to some of the original reasons why the Turbine collection was so cool for a while. What you essentially have is a smaller version of the Turbine XL case (more on that below) with the entire rear part of the watch face missing. I am amazed! This is not to be interpreted as a neagative about the seller or his methods. Frankly, while I do not know him, I think he is one of the finest and most knowledgeable sellers on ebay, and he always seems to get top-dollar for his fine watches because his listing are themselves a work of art! (Perhaps this is why I have not bought from him, I am too cheapLOL.) That said, please have a look at this listing on The Bay: 130361946500. Unless I am missing something, this is a VERY nice, but generic, 3/0 Cushion made by Star Case Company, with a nicely detailed "Thunderbird-motif" bezel. I've seen this exact case many times with Gruen, and I think Waltham movements and dials inside. (I once owned a very nice twin to this case with a Gruen inside I sold it off because it did not fit with my growing collection. Likely a mistake, I guess. I did try on the ROO model below this week and really liked the look. Does the one below for sale look legit?This would be my first foray into AP...Like the ROO and RO (15202/15300/15400) models (6.5in wrist)...just looking to buy right. Easter Magic: Incoming!
After uttering the words ¡°nautilus aren¡¯t for me¡± many times, I suddenly developed an insatiable itch for wanting to own THE nautilus. The watch is incredibly comfortable and the dial is really magical how it changes in the light: probably the only correct answer is to own both!
