Blu Galaxy Watch: Pretty Little Cosmos
Isn't this a pretty looking watch? Pretty in the way a man can wear it and not feel weird. Before you start reading this article, please start the video below. Because the beauty comes from the spectacular array of sparkles that comes from the galaxy looking dial of this correctly named Blu Galaxy watch, and these are simply hard to get on camera. This is one of Blu's first watches and was released in 2000.The watch dial is the major attraction and is constructed from something called Aventurine, which is a type of glass made with small copper particles inside. Two lonely Bulovas.................
Okay, this tale begins with me completely minding my own business at a fall festival I was attending with my wife. My wife, although mostly supportive, believes as other watch lover's spouses that you can get to a point where your collection should be mostly complete. So, I was not even harboring a thought of finding anything interesting, in a timekeeping kind of way, when, a shiny metallic reflection catches my eye from a table 10 or so feet away.And, as I pull back the costume jewelry surrounding the glare what do mine eyes see? Two rather under appreciated vintage Bulovas. The owner sees me examining them and asks me if I like old watches. My wife rolls her eyes , I say, "oh, they looked somewhat interesting, but, only somewhat........." I then casually ask the guy, "if I was interested, which I probably am not.............", "how much would you ask for the pair?" When he said, "I have a Rubbermaid container full of others like those at home and need to thin some out" and tha

Regretting the rolex i chose????!!
About a month ago i got myself a new TT daytona (116503) at the rolex Butique. It was a impulsive purchase but don't get me wrong it is a beautiful watch to own and wear. Today i passed trough a rolex Butique and decided to take a look just to kill some time, when i saw and tried on the rose gold Day-date 40 in olive green dial, I completely fell in love. Im now thinking of selling my most recent daytona to partially help me fund this day-date. After asking for opinions from friends and family if i should keep or replace my daytona let me just say its 50/50, and its very hard for me to decide. Let me just clarify that i am a casual dresser, 28 years old and not in office environment where i need to be formally dressed. I work from home and I just want a cool watch i can wear with t-shirt and jeans :) what are your opinions? Should i go for it? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
