Coming along only once in a while the Tiffany & Co. Steamerica hits eBay again. This is, in my opinion, the nicest version of the watch with the full metal bracelet, dark gray face, and simple face (some other versions featured world timers). These watches age really well. The high quality steel takes a beating and polishes if necessary. There are very few bracelets in existence of the type used on the Streamerica. Look closely at the construction and you will see a horizontal as well as vertical linkage. This acts to allow for increased flexibility in the bracelet resulting in a more comfortable, fitted wearing experience. I don't know whether to attribute this to Tiffany & Company or Hysek that designed, but the it is a fascinating design seldom seen elsewhere.I have discussed the Tiffany & Co. Hi everyoneI am currently in Europe, and planning to buy a 312 at some point - I am going to visit the Panerai store in Geneva in a few days to look at all the models.I'll be in Zurich, Munich, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf and Geneva - obviously I won't need to pay VAT/Sales tax as I live in California.Anyone have any advice about buying and how to get the best price? I am about to pick up a used speedy that was purchased by the original owner around 2008-02. Is the warranty transferable in the case that something happens to it while in my ownership? Also, is it 1 or 2 year warranty that comes with it?
