"Small wrist" Pics sporting Seamasters!
I have a 6.75" wrist and have thus always worn fairly small watches (Ironman being the largest). However, I am considering a Seamaster in the future (not sure near or distant future yet we'll see...) but don't know if I should wear a "Gent" size or "mid-size". I also like the Planet Ocean models and see that they are 42mm to 45mm wow...Those of you with small wrists (under 7"), can you post pictures of your Seamasters on your wrist (multiple angles appreciated) so I, and possibly others in my situation, can see how they look? Obviously, please post the dimensions of the watch (not just model) as I am at this point unfamiliar with the different sizes available by model. Thanks in advance!Dave

Problems with a Spring Drive
Has anyone out there in WTF land ever had any problem with their Seiko Spring Drive? They come with a 3 year warrantee, but it's off to Tokyo for any work. I'm also curious about the "periodic check" and "inspection and overhaul" as the owner's manual puts it. Any one had one yet? Interval suggested is "three or four years". Have they been out that long yet? Nothing to report about my Ananta GMT other than it gains 2 seconds a month...Wah!

So yesterday I went with my friend to hang out at a 8th generation Honda Civic meet. Where everybody around the Minneapolis - St. Paul area with a 06+ Civic gather and hang out, most of them have Si's.Along with the car shots, I took some watch shots!Although it's not a Civic Si, it's one of our friend's ride!Some of you guys know what this is...Finally come the watches!And here comes my Seiko 5

I have been collecting watches for years and have quite a varied collection with everything from a $400 Hamilton to my YG Rolex GMT. I appreciate fine horology and have had my eye on acquiring an AP for quite some time but for one reason or another, the timing just didn't work out but I think I am ready to pull the trigger soon.The sticky on what to look for when purchasing a preowned AP was very informative and I believe gives great advice. I didn't realize how expensive a routine service was so even if you think you are getting a good deal, one has to figure in $2500-3500 for a service if the watch is around 5 years old.I think I have narrowed down my choices to a Safari ROO, ROC with a brown dial or a Rubber Clad with a white dial.I have read that the bezels are scratch magnets and costs a pretty penny to refinish which makes the rubber class seem like a nice choice but the cream dial on a Safari with that tan leather strap is such a great looking combo! SD43 owners - bought it sight unseen?
I've visited all my local ADs with the goal of trying on an SD43. All have given me the same story: It's OOS, any pieces coming in have already been spoken for and will not be displayed. At least 1-2 year wait to even see one. I put myself on their lists FWIW.Anyone bought one just based on internet pics?
