Bulgari TI 38 TA wrist watches news:
Did you ever place a bid on a watch, not expecting to win it, and then you did - but then you find yourself wondering why you were able to win that, since identical watches sold for a lot more? Then you wonder why you got it so cheap, and whether there's some horrible flaw that all the cognoscenti saw that you missed? That's where I am today. I just won an auction I didn't expect to, because my maximum bid was only a little over $75 for an example of a watch that sold for $130 last week (I know - I was 2nd highest bidder!), and has gone for as much as $300 in the last 6 months.I even checked Watchcount, and there were 25 people watching this auction. And I lowballed it and won. Now I won't be happy until I see with my own eyes that the watch is worth it.Ah, well. It could be worse. Instead of a Lord Elgin, it could be something like an Omega Pie Pan Constellation!
Hello, I recently purchased a Swiss Army Chrono Classic Xls Mt, model number 241300 (seen here: imgur/9a72c.jpg). About a month ago I noticed the analog piece was moving ahead of the digital piece buy one or two minutes. The two pieces, analog and digital, are by design intended to initially sync with each other, as there is a mode where you sync them. Anyway, when I first noticed this I took the watch to the shop where I bought it. Being unable to duplicate the issue on the spot, they sent me on my way and said to come back if it happens again. A few days later it happened, I took the watch in and they replaced it. However, just today I noticed the two pieces were again out of sync (this is now a brand new watch). Somewhat frustrated, I sat down determined to make the issue happen again. Within a few minutes, I discovered that if the watch is given a subtle tap on the table the analog piece skips ahead. In fact, if you keep tapping the watch on the table it continues to move forward,
The preferred Rolex color is obviously black. Just curious if black or white is more popular with the AP crowd. My AP Panda.
Jim called this afternoon and sounded like himself again. He has been busy taking care of some personal business with the help of his sister. He has also been able to get his phones and voicemail working again but no computers up with email access as yet.
What are your thoughts on the Daytona ref 116509. Is is worth the high price tag being white gold? What are your thoughts. To me, its worth it. Does anyone here own one?
