5726¡­white or black?
Nope, not asking since that decision has been made, but it¡¯s one I looked up and struggled with for a few years so figured I¡¯d write something about it in case someone else searches the topic like I did.Over the course of a few years, I¡¯d always try on the 5726 when visiting my local AD. Usually wasn¡¯t in a position to buy but always said ¡°I¡¯ll be buying one of these at some point.¡±I¡¯d love whichever version they had (usually not both at same time) ¨C white or black. I¡¯d pore over pictures online debating which one I¡¯d buy¡­kind of silly since I had no clear plan or path to actually doing it, but it was fun to do. So I get to the point where I am ready to make the move and restart the debate in my head in earnest. Google imaging the watch, reading any reviews available, etc etc. What other watches do I want? If I go white here, I probably would not eventually go for a white 5711 (yeah, I¡¯m in minority but I may prefer it over blue)¡­but white would be a good compliment to this, or that, e

Saw it, bought it.
I had been researching my next purchase for a while, I had looked at and considered many models and brands. Eventually I decided that I would get a Patek 5146 annual calendar.My AD had ordered another strap for my 5167 and I was supposed to go and get it yesterday. I had asked a couple weeks ago about seeing a 5146 but didn't specify metal or dial, at the time they did not have one.Lucky me, because they got in 25 or so Pateks after not receiving any for a long while. I got to try on pretty much all the models I had been considering including: 5396, 5146, 5119, 5127, and the 5123. The 5146J-010 was the one. I knew I liked the gray dial just from the pictures and it was confirmed when I tried it on.The 5146 is a lot of money, but I couldn't leave it behind. With that, I present to you my annual calendar.

Rubber B strap expensive
So I bent over literally and bought a blue tang strap last night. I still feel raped for paying so much for a rubber strap. I also ordered the Bergeon 7825. Combined I over spent for some rubber and a set of tweezers..lol...I saw a thread with a BLNR with the blue band and had to have it. Plus I wanted options and it will help save the PCL's. Will post pictures once they come in. By they way I spent days researching threads and felt the Rubber B blue matched the BLNR bezel more than the Everest strap. It was a tough choice to pick which brand and which type. Didn't want to take apart the oyster bracelet so that is what swung me to the tang model. Feel free to post any strap pictures so I don't feel bad..
