Hi guys, I am from one of the other forums and need some Seiko advice/input. I have been admiring some of the cool Seiko divers recently and am seriously considering trying one on for size......only problem is there are soooo many models, versions, styles, etc. What I would like to narrow it down to is:Stainless Steel42mm or larger without the crownAutomaticSub style design$300 - $400 maxNo chrono functionsScrew in crow (but not crucial)Not dead set on any particular color combosI have tried to research myself and after a little while get a bit overwhelmed.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Charlie
A co-worker has a Rolex DJ that runs fine but hasn't been serviced in 7-8 years. He's wondering what the typical cost for C-O-A, crystal (cyclops) replacement, and pressure test would be at an indy watchmaker with Rolex experience?
Finally found a nice jubilee for my 16710 Pepsi! Love this look! Came to me on the 555 end links, so fit it slightly off. My AD is getting me the proper 502¡¯s so should have those soon. If you¡¯ve been looking for one, just do it!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
On the way home one night (which may coincidentally have coincided with an exuberant night out with a fellow TRF member - https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=569068), I noticed that a trusted seller had listed two of the Rolexes on my target list for sale....so after a few emails, a deal was hatched and a dual incoming was on the way. A few days later - these arrived...They are great pieces - and neither could be accused of being under the radar. Unfortunately, I¡¯ve been flat out busy with no time to get them sized since I received them. That will happen in due course and, when it does, I¡¯m very much looking forward to getting these two into the rotation.
