A new addition to my vintage line..
My new acquisition has been on my wrist for almost eight hours now and is keeping time as good as the digits on my cell phone...these are the pics posted by the seller and I must say they don't do justice to this baby - cosmetically, the watch looks way better than these pics I have long ways to even get close to Dennis' vintage Omega collection! H-101 Field Trip!
I did a little watch shopping on Bay Street in Nassau, so I figured I'd share some photos. Some places were very accomodating, others wouldn't allow pictures, but all were nice. Good discounts too! Windy picked up 2 purses: a Fendi and a Dooney & Bourke so she was happy.Hmmm, I wonder what they sell in this store?They didn't allow pictures though. I saw a great manual wind AP, and they carried Ulysses Nardin, Hublot, and Maurice LaCroix.This was a fun store:Some interesting things here; they even had a piano player! A SS DateJust with fluted WG bezel was under $5500 brand new - that's the total with no sales tax, no duty or luxury tax, and a 5% discount off their list price. Considering that watch sells for $6500 plus tax here in the US I'd call it a bargain.A couple quick shots of shops we didn't stop in or didn't allow inside pictures:We stopped in a very friendly place, where I was in awe at all the top tier brands. I saw a JLC 18K Reverso with a chocolate croc strap &

Breitling repair help
Just banged my Breitling Aerospace against a counter and now the display no longer works (intermittant) and it's not keeping time. I believe this happened once before and it turned out to be a broken motherboard or something similar. Can anyone recommend a good watch repair. Last time I took it to a Breitling Dealer in a mall and they charged me over 400 to repair. Hoping I can do better going to a good repair place.Thanks.Roveer
