Cartier W7100018 wrist watches news:
OK, I know the drill, pictures will come as soon as I can, But I had to tell someone, so you guys are it.I know that I have been on a sort of drunken sailor watch buying binge lately. Hi, my name is Steve and I buy watches. There I said it and I feel better already. But hey, I¡¯m not stop¡¯in. I bought this on the bay on Saturday and it arrived already today. This was the kind of watch that you just have a good feeling about. A few dark, poorly taken pictures, that when viewed in PS showed no visible wear, a brief simple description, but enough details to identify the watch. A non regular watch seller that would not cause too much notice. The watch arrived this morning US mail. And Wow, way beyond my expectations. The watch is like new. Hardly more then some desk diving scratches that you can¡¯t see without magnification. The thing sparkles all over and has hardly a smudge! An Ωmega C- Constellation date, ST 168.017 cal 561. Silver dial with thin black hands and a silver seconds hand,
Hello all,First Noob question as above.I have a 70's Electronic f300 Seamaster Chronometer that I picked up awhile back (I usually collect Accutrons). It ran fine for several months and stopped running about 2 weeks ago. It's still humming but not running. Anyone have a suggestion for service guys in NA?Thanks
I've been presented the opportunity to purchase this watch. I'm hoping it's a pre-1970 model, but can't seem to locate it in any of the reference catalogs. What's throwing me off is the lack of second markers on the dial. I've been provided the following information about its movement: 17 jewels, model #694A.Any help determining the model, year, and value (after repair, servicing, and addition of a new strap) would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.image.jpgFor a larger image . . . flickr/gp/rjfos/9vgM1Z
Lord Elgin Starglo for obvious reasons. Merry Christmas
Had met a gentlemen selling this yesterday and it appeared that the thing was genuine however the date refused to change so I'm thinking there was something wrong with the 1128 movement. The time was set to safe date change hours (not between 8pm and 2am) but using the hour hand jumping it simply would not change the date to the 6th. Then I tried the the long way with the 24h hand going all the way around past 12 multiple times. Afterwards I checked photos from the listing and the date was still at the 5th so it hasn't changed since he listed for sale. The serial engraving looked a little shallow but the dial and other details looked perfect. How does it look to you?
