Cartier Cartier 25581 wrist watches news:
In what I believe is its second year, the Roger Dubuis Hommage collection receives its most impressive piece to date, with the Roger Dubuis Hommage Minute Repeater Tourbillon Automatic watch, now close to the end of 2014. The original goal of the Hommage collection was to evoke the original designs that Roger Dubuis himself created for his eponymous brand back in the 1990s. Roger Dubuis later became unassociated with his brand, but a few years ago, the Richemont Group-owned Roger Dubuis brand decided to bring him back, and, along with his now "fatherly role" in the company, came the Hommage collection of watches. The Roger Dubuis Hommage Minute Repeater Tourbillon Automatic is just that, a vividly complicated mechanical movement that combines a tourbillon with a minute repeater and offers automatic winding. That latter element is quite interesting because the watch features "double micro-rotors." Wha...? That is right, rather than having a full rotor or one smaller micro-rotor, the Roge
Seems as though a few times a week I am informed about a new pilot watch. Brands like to talk about how this feature helps pilots with this, and how aviators love that. Apparently someone uses a slide-rule bezel, and being able to see 12 timezones at once is useful. Without knowing what people who fly actually use and need, it is hard for me to discuss these pieces on a level above being a watch nerd. It is for that reason that I am happy to have finally got a taste for flight, and what aviator watches are trying to do, and trying to emulate.I am far from a pilot, but I did get a chance to finally do something in the sky. Tutima graciously invited me to check out their airfield near Salinas California. I call it the "secret Tutima air base" because until now I'd never heard of it - and neither would anyone else who didn't happen to be in King City or was in the business of flying. The place isn't just a small airport, but home of a very special school called the Tutima Academy of Aviati
Hi All:Is there any way one can extract the actual manufacture date of Omega watch from say like the serial number.I was interested in find this out on my recently purchased Speedmaster Day/Date 3222.80Thanks
I was able to get a pretty cool pic of my Speedmaster perched on top of an original Life Magazine dated July 04, 1969. I had it vacuum sealed for many many years. It was my late grandfathers magazine and still has his 'white mailing sticker' in the lower left of the magazine. I thought the watch and magazine fit well together.
I have a few straps for my 44 including the mid blue that AP offer as their platinum option but to my eye it clashes a bit with the dial shade which is a different blue - this is one reason why I think the white rubber looks so good.My question is does anyone here have a photo of the platinum with the other AP blue option which is a dark blue? AP UK have both options in stock but I'd just like to see a photo of the dark blue before I decide. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
