- The watch was pretty, but as soon as I opened the clasp to put it on, the brass coating peeled off the clasp. Obviously, not great quality metal. Sent it back immediately.

Cartier 2602 wrist watches news:
Swihanic, the under-priced mystery watch, oh how you bewilder. I have been wearing the Riedenschild for few weeks now and it has definitely left an impression. It feels like an expensive watch, it looks like an expensive watch and for the most part, seems to be built like an expensive watch¡ but expensive is the one thing the Swihanic is not. OK, let me qualify that last statement. The Swihanic (still don't know what that means) has many features that just don't belong, as I understand the watch market, on a watch this price, being about $275.? The watch features a sapphire crystal, a well-made deployment-clasp strap (optional), branded crowns and strap details, a decorated Unitas movement, an internal bezel and a unique case design. Sure, "built like an expensive watch" is a terrible generalization, since I am sure it is not built anything like a $5000+ dollar watch, or a $1500 dollar watch for that matter, but it is better than expected, and would beat the crap out of many brands in
SIHH is just 10 days away, and the story of this year's show will likely be the 40th anniversary of Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak. While the famed ultra-thin movement (the thinnest in the world with a full rotor), the amazing Genta design, the incredible finishing on the stainless steel case, the fact that the watch essentially created the luxury sport watch category are all great things, the one thing most often overlooked is the unique design to the Royal Oak's dial.Since the very first Royal Oak was sold to the Shah of Iran, and those 1000 A-Series pieces left Le Brassus, they featured dials with a tapisserie pattern on them, a weaving pattern that forms the square and lozenge motif that captures the light and accentuates the timepiece’s "geometric relief." But just how exactly is this pattern created? Well, AP has been subcontracting the production of its Royal Oak dials to one famed dial manufacture all the way from the beginning - Stern Creations. Hi there, a very basic question but here goes. What is the difference between the Radiomir and the Luminor?
Lately I find myself rotating SS white dial watches for daily use. I have the opportunity to trade for a white dial 15400. The only other AP I own is a Volcano ROO.I have two decisions.... The first is do I trade my Rolex blue ceramic sub which I almost never wear (Usually wear my LN and occasionally my Smurf). The second is do I save up some more and get a ROO panda. So in the final analysis I need help contrasting 15400 and Panda. I am not familiar with movements and particulars of each, and if there is anything I should know about. They both sing to me and have different personalities but I can at most afford one. From a collector standpoint I like to diversify, hence the 15400 interest. I would appreciate any helpful tips. Thanks.
I don't like the black strapI changed it into a grey strapBecause the watch is out of production, the AD gave me a nice discount.
