Cartier w6701005 wrist watches news:
Hi Educated and Informed Omega Forum Members,I would really appreciate your unreserved opinions on the following Omega that I am seriously considering purchasing:The 40th Anniversary Gemini IV First Space Walk LE Speedmaster:Most of you should be familiar with this model as it was first introduced at Basel in 2005 (yes nearly 3 years ago). As the name of the watch gives away it was brought out to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Gemini IV mission which resulted in Ed White becoming the first man to walk in space, or perform an EVA. On his wrist was a standard Omega Speedmaster which he used to time the 2 1/5 hour experience. This is a standard present day Moon Watch except for two glaring changes on the front and rear. First the dial is a stunning sky blue with white counter sub-dials. The Omega logo and hour markers are hand placed and add a real high end luxury feel to the watch. These are rhodium plated as are the hands. The bezel is blued aluminium. Finally on the dial in raise

After much fuss with UPS I have finally received my new Orient! At 44mm it's by far my biggest watch and I was a little concerned about it, to be honest, but I think it looks good. So on to the pics:The calendar function isn't very practical but hey, it looks cool. Another for Orient, IMO.
Hi, newbie here and to watches in general. I only got one watch, a Rolex Datejust 41, which I chose over a Submariner at the time I bought it, and now to which I am fond of. Now here goes the time to consider what I'm gonna buy myself next. I went to a local AD without knowing anything about PP and fell in love with the Calatrava 5227G. But then of course I went online, and almost universally people recommend the 5711. I tried to look and get on waiting lists and figured I got a better chance on the 5712 so now I'm on the waiting list for that (8-12 mos from an AD in the US)Which now puts me at asking what I should be buying - the 5227G is pure love while the 5712 is a safe choice. I'm 31yo, self-employed with my share of attending important functions and meetings, and I plan to make this watch an all-rounder, wearing it anywhere from an important meeting to strolling at the mall. I realize the 5227G is more closer to the PP brand, and somehow that is an upside for me. Any thoughts?Sen
So this an oranges to apples comparison, but which would you choose? Either option would be preowned.I have a few watches with GMT complications and a few with no date today. The main thing attracting me with the 233 is the Superdome and I love GMTs, but I love the simplicity of the 111. Oh yeah and the 111 is half the price too. If you had the choice of either as your only PAM which would it be?Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
