Picked up this beauty a few weeks ago as a birthday present to myself. I have been looking around for a while for an Omega and this particular model caught my eye especially with all the talk about it on this forum. I stroll into my local AD to window shop a little and what do I see! BNIB and waiting for a new home. Apparently someone ordered it couldn't wait for it to show up and bought something else. 5153 Officer's watch
Thinking of getting a 5153. I had a look at the WG version, beautiful black dial. Not sure about the WG. Will WG change colour, become yellow over the years? Also, WG looks like steel... Hmmm. Thoughts appreciated.Will a YG 5153 work with a black strap? It comes with a brown strap but i am thinking of changing it to a black strap. Does black go with the white dial in YG?

Rolex in Dubai Mall
Moving on from India...now in Dubai.Visited the Dubai mall this morning. Rolex only had two stainless steel professional models.Explorer 1 which worked out at around ?4950 compared to UK price of ?4800.The other was the yachtmaster with rhodium dual and cyan hands. Can�t remember the price exactly but just under ?10000.SS Daytona is a 3 year wait.
