Cartier W20071Y1 wrist watches news:
My M SD has hollow center links bracelet. Does the LV( latest RRR version) feature full ones ??
I need to share my anger and frustration about buying my dream watch. IWC portuguese yacht club. Beautiful to look at and wear,in the limited time we have had together. I bought this watch new from an independent watch dealer with a long established good reputation, this is nothing about them. One condition of buying the watch was that the slightly off centre red sweep second hand be realigned. I can only assume it left the factory like this. Not a good start. Two weeks approx after receiving watch back from service the red seconds hand wouldn"t reset to zero. Coming to rest at a 2 seconds advanced position. At this point I started to look at my watch with a lume and found the dial to be contaminated with dust,a white piece of debris was also stuck to the dial on the outer chapter ring the minute finger had 2 scratches across it and a small hair/fibre was stuck to the inside of the crystal. Watch went back to place of purchase and they sent it on to IWC. Got my now clean and working pro
I really like the look of the Tachymiler as seen in this wonderful picture from mgiraz:The Tachymiler is a great-looking watch, but what is the reason for having the crown and buttons on the left of the dial? Is it a practical decision or is it for looks?
A Japanese dealer was offering a very good price (about US$3,000) on Chrono24 for a NIB Omega Speedy 3570.50. When pressed on the origin of the AD, he sent me this pic. Not exactly the most reassuring provenance. Would it bother you enough to look elsewhere?
Hi guys.I was just wondering if any of you have wrist shots of a 8500 AT midsize on anything close to a 7.25 inch wrist.I'm about a hairs breadth away from taking the plunge but, since I live in a remote location miles from an AD, I'm considering my first ever Internet watch purchase. I've seen and handled the 42mm in the steel and liked the finish but not the size/proportions so it would be great to see a 38.5mm on a similarly sized wrist to mine. Here's a pic of my sub to give you some sense of the scale of it on my wrist...
