The world of in-house, self-winding chronograph movements started out small in 1969 with the Breitling/Heuer/Buren Caliber 11, the Zenith El Primero, and the Seiko caliber 6139 and it coincided with the beginning of the quartz era, which did not exactly provide a lush financial environment for horological innovation (as we all know the Seiko caliber 6139 is long gone, as is the caliber 11 and if it weren’t for the fact that Rolex started using the El Primero in the Daytona in 1988, that might not be around either. Is there one thing, about a watch that you otherwise really like, that keeps you from buying it?My example:I really like the Invicta Ocean Ghost. It's a good looking watch; nice and big, the way I like my watches. Made of steel. I like that. A real good looking, affordable watch:Yep, good lookin', right until I see the crown:I think that piece of yellow and black plastic makes an otherwise really nice looking watch look cheap. It's the one single thing that will keep me from ever buying one. If it changes one day, and that hideous piece of plastic goes away, I'll buy one in a New York minute. 'Til then, though, I just can't do it.So, any brand, any feature. What bugs the bejeesus out of you to the point where you simply won't buy something??(Not my pictures above, by the way)

It¡®s smaller (imo perfect size), it¡®s thinner (11.9mm) and has a nice inhouse movement. What¡®s the reason for an Sub instead of a BB58?Thanks for your answer...
