I've been trying to figure out the purpose of the Turn-O-Graph bezel, but have come up empty (diving? second time zone?). I'm just not sure. So, wiser-than-I members, tell me, please.TIA
It was suggested that I posted a couple pictures of a vintage Omega that I've been unable to find info on in this forum. Figured someone ought to know. Anyone? Here are a few photos of the Omega. Model #2011 (If that sounds right?) Stamped on the warranty guide. Second pic isn't the best. Just my handheld digital with a goofy white balance setting for the macro.
I bought this one a couple of weeks ago, but had to send it off to the watchmaker as the crown fell out when I tried to set the time. Additionally, my watch guy found this, a broken spring lever:Overall, the case is in excellent shape and the back looks new as well. The silver dial shows an even patina, which to the eye (not the camera), almost looks like it was the original motif. The crystal is clean, clear, and has just a few minor nicks.The case is polished on the vertical surfaces and brushed on the horizontal ones. The hands are very thin, and the hour markers follow that theme.The case, additionally has a low profile, just 9mm from the caseback to the top of the crystal.
