Cartier W3140003 wrist watches news:
Here is a question I receive at a frequency of more than three times per week, in person: "How much should I pay for a 5513 Sub?"To answer that question with less than six caveats does the inquirer, and the world of vintage watches, a disservice. For a late 5513 with white gold surrounds, the answer would be one thing. For an early matte dial, another. For a gilt, yet another. For an underline, another. For a military-issued 5513, still another. For an Explorer-dialed piece, yet another. Oh, and any of the above could range from x to x times three for an NOS example with box and papers. You see, the thing with vintage watches is, there is no "market price" for an entire category of watches – and that is the first thing I want new vintage watch lovers to understand. And that is why I am here to tell you about something that happened on November 8th, 2015 in Geneva – to show you just how wild this market is, so that you don't try to make general assump
I have a 220 - with the "old" style bracelet.Has anyone compared the old to the new style bracelet yet - such as this one on the 299?If so, I'd love to know what you think to it!My initial impression is that it is a little "plain" compared to the old bracelet which echoes the device protecting the winding crown. All the best,Harry
Hey guys sorry if this qustion is stupid and/or has been answered multiple times. I'm in the car now and am accessing the site from my Blackberry and couldn't find the search function. Anyways, I watched a Youtube video of a Seiko Monster the other day and notice the second hand continuously moves as opposed to it ticking each second. Is this from the Automatic movement or a special feature this watch has like Rolexes? Thanks in advance!!!
Since getting my Oris Williams F1, I've become a big fan of deployment clasps on straps.I've got some watches that have tang buckles on the straps, but would like to have deployment clasps on them.Is there an aftermarket source for either the clasps or straps already with the clasps installed? Thanks!
I owned a 41mm RO Chrono 26320ST.OO.1220ST.01 but never loved the matte black dial because it often looked washed out of even dark grey in direct light. Does the 15400ST.OO.1220ST.01 have the same finish and color of dial or is it darker and glossy like the original Diver?Plan B would be a blue dial (15400ST.OO.1220ST.03) but it is vert difficult to find a true-to-life picture that isn't turned up to 11 to make the blue look super vibrant. Ideally the blue would be subtle in real life.
