U-Boat 6448 wrist watches news:
After all the mucking about and dissapointment with the fit of the PO, I finally have my old mate back!I've owned this watch before prior to my going to the Rolex Sub & then the SD.How I could ever have doubted this watch is beyond me and now I have it back it's like the return of an old and valued friend. The look, classic yet sporty is second to none and the comfort factor (which you all know is important to me) is incredible, I hardly know it's on my wrist (Apart from the fact that I can't help keep looking at it)So here it is, my new 2254.50, excuse the quick and crappy pics as I used my work camera and it's not up to much.Better ones to follow as soon as I get time.Sorry there's so many but I got carried awayI'm chuffed to bits with this watch and can't see me ever parting with it....againThanks for lookingMac.
I would just like to thank Enzo for his posts lately, some have been confrontational / argumenative, puzzling and thoughtful. I am sure there are many other words that could be used to describe his posts. But I really look forward to reading them because his thoughts are so open and refreshing and sometimes quiet amusing. His posts are like the little segment that follows then main news story, you know the quirky little thought for the day. Sometimes I find myself having to read the post more than once just figure his point of view. But seriously man, hats off you ya your a real blast of fresh air in a hobby that sometimes can be seen as very stiff collared and I can't wait to read what you will come up with next. There are so many great posts and posters and I do not mean to lessen their input, I am just applauding the way he looks at things differently.
I am looking at a Rolex Daytona as well as a Omega Blue Seamaster 300M Chrono. I went into a local mall the other day and a store that mainly sells Tissot, Citizen and Seiko had a few nice used time pieces for sale. One was a used Rolex Daytona which the owner of the store told me had stopped working but was recently fixed. He was asking $8,700 and at the time I really was not interested. I have been searching online and have yet to find as good a price for that watch. The Seamaster that I like I can get for about $6,000 less but I find myself daydreaming about that Rolex especially since I know it is a good deal. Would anyone of you guys take a risk on buying a Rolex from a non authorized AD? I really was not in the market for another watch but it just looks to be a great deal!
Hi guys,As the title, im a complete newbie to watch world. After doing research for a while, i narrow down some of these models that i find on chrono that fit my taste and my budget:.chrono24/en/audemarsp...-id2643180.htm.chrono24/en/audemarsp...m&watchTypes=U.chrono24/en/audemarsp...=2&tab=detailsMy question is: how do i avoid a scam and get what i pay for? 10.000-12.000 is a lot of money to me after all. How can i be sure that after i make a payment, the seller will ship it to me? What can i do if the watch arrive not as describle or not working probly? Or in worst case, it is a fake watch? Also, please be kind and give me as many advice as possible as im totally naive about watch.Thank you in advance.
hi guys, i just sold my TT Daytona over the weekend and was contemplating about my next purchase....a WG Daytona 116509 vs. a YG Daytona 116528. i know it's a bit of a stretch of money for me to own this piece but for me it's the ultimate Daytona. to all you WG and YG Daytona owners what are your thoughts? WG vs YG?
