- The watch looks great and feels very well made. As some of the reviews said, the box was really obnoxious but luckily the watch was not! The boyfriend loves it.

Cartier Cartier 14769 wrist watches news:
Post them here!I tell you; October is going to be a hard one to beat! Sometime I must get around to totalling up what was posted. A lot of aged horology items found welcoming new homes. Here it is, nine hours and forty one minutes into a new month and I haven't bought a single watch. My my I am slipping!EDIT: October 2010 we here at the HF posted 29 "Incomings". Includes one "Tiffany" Hamilton but doesn't include one pair of cufflinks! Only one modern Hamilton registered; I think we can do better than that?
I have a question about Orient watches. First thing, I am looking at a CEM65006DW for a daily "wearer". I currently have two Bulova Marine Star watches. I mainly wear a 96G77. It is a 100m "dive" watch. However, it is just quartz. I know that is really the "superior" way to tell time, but it feels so boring. I feel like I am looking down at some toy with a little battery making it work. Sorry if that is stupid, but the idea of a mechanical automatic watch powered by "me" seems so much more, ah, alive. Again, it sounds lame.1: Does Orient make their own watches? Or do they only make their own movements in house, and are they as vertically integrated with their production of movements (or the whole watch) as Seiko is? (I've heard Seiko to be 100% VI )2: Where can I find a good price for one of these watches that WILL ship to Canada? I am not sure where I would get one fixed AND, so far, it seems like Ebay is the only option. Any reputable dealers of them on Ebay?3: What could I expect f
Hey everyone,After a little bit of lurking, I decided to make an account, and after getting pages and pages of replies to the few topics i made and seeing how helpful everyone is I decided that I will be a bit of a regular on these forums. So here is my introduction/photos of current collection as promised!Ive always had a bit of a hard on for watches, but only recently have I decided that I wanted to start collecting them. The reason for this decision was I noticed that I still owned/enjoyed the first watch I ever bought myself when I was 16, so i figured, unlike video games, music, etc..a watch collection can be pretty timeless! That said, my name is Kris, im originally from Poland but currently residing in Canada. Im 24 and finishing up an Accounting degree at my local University. I also work in corporate taxation for the federal government, as the broke student lifestyle...is simply not for me Now on to the good stuff This is the group shot!
