Cartier W51008Q3 wrist watches news:
Members of the HODINKEE team are often asked about our personal watch buying and wearing habits. That's understandable – we spend our days around incredible watches, both old and new, and most of us have dedicated not only our careers but also our lives to understanding and appreciating these timepieces. This year, we continue our annual tradition of sharing our watch-wearing habits of the past 12 months. We asked every member of the HODINKEE team, from Kelly, to Blake, to Eric and Will, to Felix and Jason, to Evald, to Paul, to Ben and John Mayer, which watch, out of all the watches they've worn in 2014, they spent the most time with. The answers will tell you a lot about who we all are as watch lovers. Jason Heaton ¨C Rolex Submariner 2 OF 11 This Rolex Submariner has accompanied on most of my significant adventures over the past few years and it got the most wrist time in 2014. I wore it while crewing (fittingly) on a sailboat in the four-day Rolex
OK all.. A new year - a new want to buy watch list What's on your gotta get patek Philippe list? What might be on your Patek Philippe Going-Out list? And what's on your "I hope Patek releases in 2010" list?Let's hear your '10 Patek Plan!
I'm trying to figure out if a light brown/tan strap would make the dial more obviously brown, or less obviously brown than the black strap does. Unfortunately, I don't have a light brown/tan strap of any size to use as a basis for comparison! Another question - the nunbers and markers are pure lume material. Anybody have any guesses as to how long they'll retain their original color, and how it will age? I have a Tissot that's about 17 years old, and the lume on the hands darkened almost completely after about 10 years or so. I'd like to think the numbers/markers on this will age better! Thanks for opinions.2012-07-12 17.51.41.jpg
