Cartier WB7045L1 wrist watches news:
Hi all, I own a Khaki Navy Regata, love it. Now since a few days it started something I don't like a bit, there is humidity in interior glass. After a swim in the sea (not diving) and after shower where I took time to wash the watch to remove salt and sand as I usually do, it started forming humidity inside. Now is that normal for such a watch to be sensible to the hot/cold effect ? I returned it to the shop already for a check-up but I am a bit shocked it happened to this watch. It's still under warranty but in the shop they not sure that it will work. Your opinion on this will be appreciated
Hey guys ! ! !Here are some pictures of the MidWest Regional that we took yesterday ! ! !This is GregTiffanyThe Tailgate Mart that started at 7amGreg TRYING to cut a side deal ! ! !Greg = Ben = StanIt was VERY nice meeting you Ben ! ! !Tiffany trying on some new glasses. Now this is where is gets kinda FUNNY ! ! !We just got back to my place and we were talking an inventory of what we just bought at the Mart.Don't me and Greg look like a couple of children after we just got done trick-or-treating on Halloween ? ? ?I bought my FIRST Illinois watch yesterday ! ! !Soon as we got back I broke down the Illinois 1915 Sterling Silver, size 0s, 17 Jewels, Semi-Hermetic Trench Watch. It needed to be cleaned up a bit so Greg was snapping some shots of my polishing the case.More pictures will probably come later from Greg. We were both going to go down and see Farrell Gay in Springfield today but Greg had to go alone because I needed to make an emergency trip to the dentist this morning! My tooth
Made a great deal with Artice at cellini on Madison and finally landed my first AP! Pics to follow tomorrow as I had it shipped to NJ So proud to finally have an AP in the rotation. Enough admiring this great house from afar! It's a daily wear piece so don't get too excited folks :)
Hello everyone!!Being a bit confused for quite awhile now becouse i love the SS Chronomat but in my wrist i found it way to bling and the fact that the bracelet is so polished, makes me clean the watch everytime i touch it so it wont be full of fingerprints.. So i found a great solution! I thinking about purchasing the same watch (Chronomat) but with the Blackbird brushed bracelet! The Question i ask all of you WIS is if the Blackbird brushed bracelet fits the Chronomat range, and obviously if it can be bought apart from the blackbird modelThank you so much By the way some photos:(Blackbird)(Chronomat)
Just curious on how the TRF members feel about reselling. I am not talking about worn pieces; but rather currently offered Rolex models for sale from private individuals that were purchased for the exclusive purpose of reselling for a profit. Is the grey dealer any different than a private party doing the same thing (reselling)? Is reselling a new thing? Is it short lived? How do you see it affecting watch collecting as it used to be?I am newer to the forum so I am NOT trying to step on toes; just wondering how the members and/or collectors view this in the watch world.
