Cartier 18101 wrist watches news:
Many of the Hamilton models come in both Chronograph or Standard 3 hand......How much will the different movement play, in your choice to purchase?
I know the odds are small, but before bringing to the jeweler to open, can anybody identify this reference? I would like to sell this. Is there much demand for this vintage? I saw one web site (don't remember which) selling similar vintage for $5,000 (maybe $10,000?) or so. I did bring it to one jeweler who glanced at it and told me there is no demand for this type of Patek Philippe and said he would buy it only as scrap gold. Does this sound correct? I trust this jeweler as I have bought three new watches there.Thank you.
That's right I said Eglin not ELGIN.I've just inherited this watch from my father who got it from his father. (Another Grampa watch.)I wore it for a little while 20+ years ago in high school. I need to have it serviced but never heard of this brand. Anybody? Anybody, ..Bueler?
We have heard some bad stories on AP's lately and its a bummer, hope everyone get their issues resolve soon. How about some positive stories?
It just arrived and I like it even more than I did in the store. To me, it's the perfect combination with all of the attributes I was looking for: it's sporty, casual, dressy, and has several complications that I don't currently have (chrono, annual calendar, power reserve, etc). Just as important, it's one of the most modern looking Pateks. Thanks again to the enablers and support!
