- I received this watch some time ago and have been wearing it a lot - it goes with so many outfits - the whisper of spring when we needed it. Very functional and the size is perfect for me. My older daughter loves it so I am sure this will be going her way - going on a cruise with her in a couple of weeks and we decided this will be the perfect watch i got.

Went to check out a watchmaker today.....opinions wanted
I had ben meaning to get by his shop for some time now and finally managed to go in this morning. Nice small shop. I asked a few questions, looked around a bit. I have a couple of concerns about giving him my pieces to service. I want your opinions on my concerns.First concern. He's an older gentleman(no problem) speaks broken English..very broken. His wife, who greets customers speeks none. Communication could be an issue.second concern. He claims to work on Vacheron and Patek but the highest line he seems to deal with is either Seiko or Citizen. Everything else in his shop is no-name quartz. third concern. He's a Seiko AD and he asked if I paid $900 for my Orange Monster. If your an AD should you not know the retail prices of your brand?opinions please. SHould I give the man a chance or keep looking?

Thoughts on the 2254....
What is everyone's thoughts of this newly retired SMP? Was it a mistake on Omega's part to retire this watch? What are the reasons? Slow sales? As an owner of this great watch, I think it's kind of bitter sweet that I won't be seeing this watch in AD's. It's always great to see your watch in the display case even when you have it on your very own wrist. It reminds me of all the great classic Omega dive watches such as the 300 that influenced the likes of the 2254......I think of all SMP's that are made by Omega the 2254 looks more like a tool watch than any other SMP's.

I was already on the list and was put on in person at the store But today received this text hopefully it will stop people getting on the list without even stepping foot in storeMessage is below Good Morning, this is the Rolex Manager at Goldsmiths . I am contacting you as you have shown interest in potential new Basel release models. I would like to inform you that as of today, in order for you to confirm any interest you must now be entered on a registration system which can only be updated by you being in store and sitting with one of our Rolex team. I understand that some of you have shown interest some time ago however this is now going to be a practice carried out throughout the Aurum Group. So to confirm any list you are currently on will not be honoured until you have registered in person in store.Regards

Hi everyone.Just joined the Rolex club, the Sub club to be exact. Now I've got a bad case of buyers remorse.I was so excited when the Sub arrived.BNIB with stickers still applied and everything.I tried the watch on one time and that was it.Have had the watch for for over one week, taken out one time, put back in the box, and put away.Anyone else get hit with buyers remorse?If so, what did you do?You return the watch or flip it?
