I've noticed a lot of Speedies on auction and sale sites being stained. As a matter of fact....my 1974/75 Speedy has a stained dial. Is this something to do with the paint? It being a matt dial? Sun? Anyone know?

I checked out the Omega botique store, they have a great selection of all things Omega, and Omega only. The service was also very good. The price point on most Omegas seems like a steal compared to Rolex. Two watches stood out for me today, a new blackfaced moonwatch with a date, day and month wheel, and this second watch for 3,500 with the best looking dial I've seen in some time... Very tempting if you ask me...What do you think...?

Faint Scratch
Hi everyone,Hoping for a little advice on a few topics. Firstly I scratched the glass of my 5712R by banging it against something and want to know what to do. It's very very faint but is bothering me big time so want to know what the options are and ball park costs - I am not keen on anything DIY!Secondly, I would really like to understand service costs from Patek. Well...I guess technically this is a Basel release, just not this year. Been eyeing this one for a while. And truthfully, torn between it and the steel dial. In the end this one just spoke to me. Just works for me and I guess that's what matters in the end.Took some pics to try to capture how magnificent this dial is in the sun...failed, but you get the idea.And yes...I know there are stickers on in the pics. They've all been removed now so the sticker police need not be alarmed. Happy Friday, TRF!
