Chopard 16/2267 wrist watches news:
This is the most stripped-down watch in Panerai’s current collection and it also represents the entry level price into the world of Panerai in-house movements. It’s actually a relatively new movement – the caliber P.5000 was introduced only two years ago and back in 2013, HODINKEE founder Ben Clymer took a look at the watch in which it was introduced: the PAM 510, which has a seconds sub-dial at the 9:00 position. In case you’re not up on Panerai history, the use of an 8 day movement with small seconds is an homage to that history; Panerai used 8-day movements by Angelus in some of its earliest watches (along with Rolex movements based on Cortebert ebauches). 1 OF 7 The PAM 560 is newer than the movement – we saw it for the first time at the 2014 edition of the SIHH, and the feeling we have is that it’s part of a general move across the board to make all Panerai watches powered by in-house movements. We haven’t spent a tre
Hi everyone,I hope I can beg Rusty's indulgence if my question crosses boundaries. I find myself needing to re-prioritize my collection (in other words, I need to sell stuff because I need money), and I am having a hard time figuring out if there is any interest for what I have and what people would consider fair pricing. I have monitored this and other forums, checked eBay, and it's just too difficult to pin down. So, I would like to put it to the group. What would you consider a fair asking price for the following items:1) standard Hamilton Ventura (current model, original face design), the deployment buckle, original collectors box and paperwork. It's in LNIB condition. 2) Hamilton Piping Rock, the first re-issue, with the words :"registered edition" and a number on the back. It's in gold plate, with Swiss Quarts, the watch has definitely been worn. The crystal has a tiny imperfection in it near where the small, second hand dial is located. There are myriad of tiny, tiny s
After going through 5-6 speedies the past few years, this is the one I will finally keep. My daughter Ava also loves this little guy and thus, this one is a keeper for sure now! I think she looks lovely. What do you think? Have a great week to all here!Best,Fred/NJ
Witch PP5980 you choose? Between blue dial or black dial.Thanks.
Hi everyone - about to make my first Tudor purchase (red black Bay with in house movement) and wanted to get some options for aftermarket leather straps that I could put on the deployant clasp. I really don¡¯t like the distressed leather strap option because it looks really cheaply made. For my Panerai, there were tons of options but not so much for the Tudor, esp with the 22/18 deployant. Any thoughts??Also I do like the brown leather strap on the new BB GMT, but not sure if I am able to purchase just that from an AD?Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
