- This was a gift for a picky husband who didn't want a flashy watch. The F&S watch is tough and classic enough for him to wear without worrying about breaking it.

Jaeger LeCoultre 146.8.25 wrist watches news:
Eighty-nine feet up. I find myself perched atop a wood platform, baking in the Texas heat high above a lake a couple of hours west of Dallas. While I am relatively okay with heights, I seldom go out of my way to experience heights as any sort of challenge to my ego. I take a couple of steps forward and a slender man with long hair, an enviable tan, and a Red Bull backpack advises me to not go any further than the "Texas" logo on the platform. The reason? Hey everyone! I'm just a fan of Patek watches. I was wondering if any Patek owners have gone after one of these to decorate their offices or homes? Kind of like asking a Ferrari driver if they wear a GP Ferrari or Panerai Ferrari watch, I know! Sorry for the Newb question. Just think these are really cool.
I'm starting my first grown-up woodworking project - a hand-carved watch box with slots for 10 watches. I'm going to make a removable tray to hold the watches, with storage for straps/bracelets/tools below that. The tray is going to be made out of Padauk, I'm debating on either Ancient Kauri wood or pine w/ carbon fiber veneer for the sides and lid. I'm just hoping that someone else here has already carved their own watch box and has pictures to help inspire me along.
