Breitling 785 wrist watches news:
I got the Hamilton Khaki Field Officer Mechanical. It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be but I love it. It's such a nice watch and the deal from Aashford was great. They are a sponsor here and I will do business with them again. Ok maybe I need to buy that book on how to take pictures. I posted last week that Aashford had this watch at $295.00 but there was some confusion about sponsors? Anyway the deal is over and it's back up to $367.00 which is still a great deal for this watch.I have a question about it and if anyone can answer it I would be greatful. This is the first mechanical I've owned and I'm worried about overwinding it. Can this watch be overwound? I do feel when it gets tight and the crown will pull back but I can also see how it would be easy to over do it. The one thing Hamilton is lacking is directions concerning things like that in the instruction book. I love the look of this watch, the way it feels on my wrist and how easy it is to tell the time. Yes, I'm get
Just curious if anyone knows if sword hands (from a 2254.50 for example) will fit perfectly with a PO 8500?Thanks!
My Pam 356 (Daylight) is roughly 6 years old now. I had it serviced at 3 years, because it was losing time. I sent it in, and upon getting it back, it has a SEVERLY scratched bezel. I cried foul, especially given that they made NO mention of it during the servicing. We went back and forth, finally they agreed to replace the sapphire crystal for the cost of the part only. Gee, thanks. Just a hair under 3 years later, it’s losing over an hour a day. In what world is this acceptable? I sent it in, they recommended another full service. I wear this watch the least, preferring my IWC Porteguiser and Rolex BLNR over the 44mm monster. Have any of you had similar service experiences? At $700 a service, I’d expect a hell of a lot better and longer. My 20 year old Breitling does better.
Greetings AllI have a Daytona Reference 116503 TT and was thinking of changing the Strap with an Everest Alligator Strap.https://.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/...r-strap-brown/Have you replaced the original strap on your Daytona with a leather strap? I would be grateful if you could send some pictures, comments, or advise.Thank you very muchTimeLDN
Just came from buying an SD43 and located a James Cameron DSSD and BLNR in the process. Please PM me if you'd like the contact info. First come first served, of course.
