- I got this watch for my mom and was very pleased with how it looked. Classy and a bit modern too... I liked the fact that it's a two-tone. My mom was thrilled to get it. She tells me how great it is every day now! :)

Chopard 168959 wrist watches news:
Hong Kong and Schaffhausen may seem worlds apart, but they have something in common: a very special place to view IWC timepieces. IWC’s Flagship Boutique is their fourth Hong Kong location, and the most extravagant, and it may provide a model for future boutiques in key markets. The boutique presents a unique backdrop and offers insight into the worlds of IWC. Each IWC timepiece collection is presented in a thematic room. The Portuguese collection is displayed in a Navigators’ Lounge with dark wood floor panels and custom recessed glass display cabinets reminiscent of a luxury yacht. The Pilot series is housed in the Sports Lifestyle Wing with 1930s club chairs and IWC aviator jackets. This room also offers a flight simulator. Da Vincis are displayed in an atmosphere of inventiveness and aesthetic sophistication. The Aquatimer room conquers the depths and presents the intriguing story of the Galapagos Islands. Each room brings the collection to life.
This new Bulgari Daniel Roth collection watch joins the ranks (small ranks) of million dollar plus timepieces from the brand. Offering a wildly complicated movement and inspiration from the Daniel Roth brand that Bulgari engulfed into itself, this piece is one serious homage to a love of horology.Based on the commentary I have received thus far, people seem to dig the video Bulgari made about its new Daniel Roth Grande Sonnerie Perpetual Calendar watch. I must admit that it does work well when you make a watch look like a deity coming from space to save the planet - with chimes. Chime your well to a better like. According to Bulgari, if in operation all the time, the sonnerie function will chime over 433,500 times per a year. That is a lot of dings and dongs.Bulgari says it takes about one year to build each of these watches. I believe that. There are a very small amount of people who are skilled enough to make them, and it takes along time to decorate the parts, assemble, and then tes
I got it from a Danish guy who has an excellent relationship to an AD in Sweden. The Milgauss is BNIB, has all the plastic on, and comes with the certificate without my name on it plus a receipt. I paid MSRP, btw. As usual, here are a few pics..There was a LOT (15 pcs) of plastic on it:I opted for the Milgauss over the DJ 116234 that I also had thought about buying for the following reasons:Size: I have had DJ's before, and imho it's just a bit on the small side for my wrist. The 40mm. Milgauss fits me better, imho.Looks: The Milgauss is just SO different than my two other watches. Also, you can use it both as a dress or everyday watch. You can dress it up or down. Also, I wanted something totally different from what I have owned before.Resale value: Had I bought the DJ, I would be badly hit if I choose to re-sell it. Although prices on the 2nd. hand market have gone down for the Milgauss GV, as well, still it is much easier to sell and get a decent price for, should I decide to flip i
After finding out that the humble $200 watch and the mighty $10,000 watch will both have the same movement if it is a automatic.........The question inevitabley follows......then aside from lots of diamonds on a few of the pricey ones .....What is it about the expensive watches that makes them so expensive ? ......I was under the impression that companies like Hamilton, Bulova, and Illinois when they were making their own movements back in the early to mid 20th century were fully equal to any of the Swiss companies......and while most of their models were not cheap, I still remember seeing the ads in old National Geographic, from the 20s and 30s, of both Elgin and Hamilton.....at the bottom of the ad it says.....Mens watches from $35 to $5,000 and that was a whole lotta money in those days ! .......Now I uderstand that the watch business and the manufactering of them has changed dramatically, but I still want to know ....why are those watches so expensive.....?????
Can somebody please post a picture of the 41 mm and 44 mm next to each other? I am now thinking about this one. 26400SO.OO.A002CA.01. Thanks.
