- I bought this for my husband to replace an old calculator watch he had in high school--yes, he still likes them. He thought it was great and I thought it was a good price for the watch. So far, it works just fine.

I've just received a brand new AP ROO bracelet. I paid good money for it from a seller based in Malta. On first inspection I have my suspicions but I wonder if the experts can confirm it is 100% genuine Audemars Piguet as I know there are cheap fakes about.Thankyou.
I'm a huge fan of this new Solar Impulse Titanium Speedmaster GMT with Saphire crystal and a date function as well! The carbon fiber dial and caseback is certainly eye catching (though I would have to see it in the flesh to really appreciate it I'm sure) and the caseback lettering and logo really stand out. The retail according to a few ADs is around $8000 USD but then you get what you pay for right?Just in case anyone here has not heard of this new Titanium Speedmaster from Omega here are the details...Titanium on titaniumReference: 321.90.44.52.01.001 MOVEMENTCaliber: Omega 3603Self-winding chronograph with column wheel mechanism, free sprung-balance and Co-Axial Escapement for greater precision and durability. 2nd time zone through 24 hour and 30 minute totalizers, stop second function, start/stop push button, return-to-zero push button. My dad is 71 and has a very slow growth cancer. I would love to gift him a Rolex for him to enjoy his last few years. My dad hasn't really been into watches or much of anything as he usually just sacrificed for his family and put his desires aside. It would be a stretch to make this gift possible financially but certainly doable. My question is what to do for my mom? Is it necessary to provide a gift of similar value for her. Do you think she would be offended if I gave a gift of significant value to him and not her. I'm not sure I can swing two gifts in this price range. I would love to hear from others that have wrestled with this dilemma and how it turned out.
