Looking to buy my first Omega...
I have been eyeing the SMP Coaxial for a while now, and I'm on the verge to making the purchase. After talking to a rep at the Omega Boutique in NY about the newer model that is coming in the fall, I've decided to jump on the current model before the wavy dial disappears. Has anyone here had experience trading in watches at tourneau recently? I've done it once before, but it was a few years ago. Would I be better off trading in my Tag aquaracer chrono automatic (caf2110) there for the SMP or trying to sell it used on eBay (going for around 1100-1200)? Also, is their watch protection plan worth it? I'm in NJ, so there aren't many other ADs in the area and I would prefer to make this purchase in person.Any advice would be welcome!Mike

broken hamilton tachymiler chronograph button
i dropped my tachymiler from about 3 feet off the ground onto carpet floor and the red chronograph button broke offthis is my first hamilton and it is very troubling to know that a slight drop can break this watch, makes me think twice about associating quality with hamilton :mad:

Can anybody give me some info on these Seikos? Opinions are welcome as well as facts
Here are the two in consideration:I'd like subjective opinions, as well as a couple of specific bits of info please.First, anybody know how difficult it would be to find a replacement strap/bracelet for the Sportura if the leather wears? Second, anybody know what the bezel on the non-Sportura is made of?
